Supply Chain Procurement
Data Analysis to identify patterns in the supply chain / procurement, in order to improve efficiency and maximize cost savings of the opertations.
Business question: What are the customers / suppliers with the highest profits and payments completed? What is the delivery status of the current orders?
Tools used: Power BI.


Key Insights

The average order profit is higher than the average order discount, both in percentage.

'Late delivery' is more than half of the delivery status, which will create lack of effciency in the operation.

There was a pattern of increasing order profit until mid of 2017, after that decreased sharply.

'Pending payment', 'Processing', 'Pending' and 'On hold' accounts for more order status than 'Complete', and it indicates that the order finalized and not paid in full.

USA is the country leading ahead of the other countries in terms of orders placed.

There is a customer with more than 1000 orders, but with a profit of 0, very distante from the others, it is an outlier.

Data source from Kaggle.

DataSet of Supply Chains used by the company DataCo Global was used for this analysis.

Areas of important registered activities : Provisioning , Production , Procurement, Sales , Commercial Distribution.

CSV file with 180519 rows and 53 columns.
2. Data Visualization

In Power BI, created calculated measures, graphs, filters and sliders.

The graphs used were Pie chart , Horizontal bar chart , Line chats, Gauge and Heatmap.

Each vizualization has its specific tooltip.
